About Chef Mon

FatBoiMon aka Chef Mon real name Armand was born and raised in Southwest Atlanta, Ga, ( Oakland City & College Park) coming up in some of the toughest neighborhoods of Atl he managed to stay on the right path. Losing his mother (Phyllis ) at the age of 18 really made him grow up and become an adult fast. First it was sports, then he tried gangs, after that the streets came. After seeing so many of his close friends lose their life he decided it was time to change....Starting out at his favorite cousins night club  ( Center Court Sports Bar & Grill) as the head chef he was the youngest cook in the area, but made a name for himself fast. As time went by he constantly built relationships and started his long list of clientele. 2012 he landed a gig working for Luarants Catering as Assistant Chef which was a Film production Catering company that catered to Actors, Producers, etc. he's cooked for the Show (The Game B.E.T) (CBS Surgeon General) (Hult Catch & Fire Season 1) ( Watsons Go to Birmingham) just to name a few. 2014 he quit the catering company to start his own business Southern Seoul Kitchen LLC, the first 2 years was tough not being qualified and not having any type up culinary degree, only skills was what he had learned from his mother & grandmother. So one day he made a dish his mom used to always cook ( Baked bbq chicken, Mac and cheese & green beans boxed them up in some ToGo trays rode around the city till every last one of them was gone. After he had finished his phone wouldn't stop ringing. Fast forward a few years and here we are today with Fatboimon Catering which has served a long list of hard working individuals including Entertainers & Professional Athletes.
